What other small acts of service are there? You might pay for the coffee of the stranger behind you in line at the cafe, for instance, or the person behind you at the drive-thru. Holding open a door for someone is a simple act that can start a chain reaction of positivity. Even something as small as a smile can spread the light within you to others.
Just think about what you’re truly good at. Is it volunteering? Is it being a sympathetic listener? Perhaps your gift is teaching new ideas to people. You can donate your time, energy, and light in so many different ways and meditating on this card will help you figure out exactly how.
The Law of Attraction will bring you what you need
Imagine the Universe as a deep cave in which you can speak and an echo will bounce back to you. If you whisper words of love, love is what you will hear. If you scream words of hate, that is what you will hear instead. What we do, think, and visualize are the sounds we project into the cave, waiting to hear them come back to us. When you donate your light to others you are speaking hope into the cave and so hope is what the Universe will bring you.
Keep in mind, it can take a while for the echo to reach your ears again. Just because you don’t see a return immediately doesn’t mean that your service has gone unnoticed, though. You need to have faith in the Divine that everything will come together at the perfect time.
When you serve others, you are no longer thinking about your own problems and instead are focused on making the world a better place. Imagine what the echo of your service will sound like coming back to you then!
Just like the angel on the card, you carry a candle with you always. You can make it burn brighter with love and joy or you can dim it with fear and anger, the choice is yours. When it burns brightest is when you can light others’ candles with your own, spreading a golden glow across the whole world.
Never think that an act of service is too small or would go unappreciated; the Universe is built on tiny grains of kindness that add up to mountains of joy. So be mindful of what you are projecting into the universe and when in doubt, turn to service.
