I married right out of high school and it went downhill quick, but still we tried to make it work. And then a career opportunity came along but I was stuck with a really tough decision to make. I could either stay with my wife in our loveless marriage, or I could emigrate. I suppose I could have emigrated with her, but the very idea made me not want to move.
I didn’t have much time to consider my options. I asked Uriel and he told me that I already have my answer and that I shouldn’t fight reality. Well he was right. I did have my answer. Why would I stay with my wife if I wouldn’t move with her? That was 9 years ago and now both of us have never been happier.
