A well-known example of an Angel protecting someone from physical harm in the Bible is the story of Daniel. God rewards Daniel for his strong faith by sending down an Angel to shut the mouths of the lions in the den Daniel is trapped in.
Today, it’s common for people who survive major accidents, soldiers returning from war, and anyone who avoids imminent danger to attribute their good fortune to a Guardian Angel.
