Angels appear numerous times throughout the Bible carrying out different tasks in the name of God. While the rules for Angels are not apparent and seem to vary with their different appearances, some tasks that Angels carry out have consistency. The general theme of the many roles that Angels have is that everything they do is in service to God. And since we as humans, can’t see God directly, the Angels appear to us on his behalf.
